Description
We think this is a terrific little case, made up by us at the château and in our handy, neat 6-pack, rather than a large post-safe box.
Oh and the estate-grown, château-bottled wines are all really good.
2 bottles Sauvignon Blanc 2024
2 bottles Rosé 2024
2 bottles Bordeaux Supérieur 2019
See our nifty 'best to drink' graphic on the back labels.
Sauvignon Blanc 2024. Our most popular wine and we're really pleased with the quality of our 2024 vintage for the whites and rosé, despite a smaller crop.
"The new vintage of Quinney’s Château Bauduc Sauvignon Blanc 2024, Bordeaux, France (£13.25 in cases of six, delivery free in England and Wales for orders of 12 bottles, bauduc.com), has just landed. Crisp, streamlined, mostly sauvignon, excellent. Definitely a buy."
Victoria Moore in the Telegraph, Saturday 19 April 2025
The back label: 'This was our 25th vintage, as our first full season was in 2000. Our dry white from that year was chosen by Rick Stein as a ‘special selection’ so, as they celebrate 50 years at his famous Seafood Restaurant, our crisp Sauvignon Blanc has racked up 25 years there.' 12.5% vol.
Rosé 2024. Our pale, popular rosé and we're really pleased with the quality of our 2024 vintage, despite a smaller crop.
“The best yet: we tasted it at the same time as our Provence rosés – your wine shone” wrote Jill Stein’s sister Roni, who has been looking after the wine with Rick Stein and his son Charlie at The Seafood Restaurant for many a year, along with sommelier Jason.
The back label: 'Our 25th vintage. The house Rosé for Rick Stein for well over a decade, we picked our red grapes early (40% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon) and used just the free-run juice for this delicious, pale and dry wine, before pressing the skins.' 12.5% vol.
Bordeaux Supérieur 2019. Our classic Bordeaux red from the excellent 2019 vintage. A medium-to-full-bodied claret for drinking now or keep for a few years.
This has evolved superbly after more than three years in bottle now, and slips down all too easily. We made it from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from the vines on the south and west facing slopes and from those on the plateau near the château. Fermented in stainless steel vats, with some aged in oak.
The back label: ‘2019 saw a long, hot summer here with just enough rain, then a fine, sunny harvest. A medium to full bodied blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this can be kept for a few years through it's supple and fruity enough to enjoy quite young.’ 14% vol.
