We offer a delivery service to United Kingdom mainland addresses via our logistics partner, London City Bond. Only orders for delivery to the UK are accepted on this site and minimum quantities apply for free delivery in each area. Please refer to our delivery page for details. If you place an order for an address that we cannot deliver to (i.e. outside the UK), we will inform you that the order has been cancelled and refund you within 30 days.
Delivery surcharges for Scotland, Islands and Northern Ireland.
The delivery charge included on your order on this website covers a single delivery to an address in England or Wales. For Scotland, Islands or Northern Ireland a mininum quantity applies so please refer to our Delivery page for details. If you do not accept the surcharge then the order will be cancelled and we will refund the payment within 30 days.
Our standard delivery charge is £9.50 for orders of 6 to 11 bottles to a single address in England or Wales. Delivery is free for orders of 12 bottles or more to one address in England or Wales.
You do not have to be at the delivery address at the time of delivery but you must inform us, as part of the order process online, where to leave the goods in the event that nobody is in, such as ’‘leave in the porch’ or "by the back door".
The online payment system on this site is operated by PayPal Payments Pro (the card processing arm of Paypal) and is completely secure. We do not have access to your credit card details nor do we store your card details.
18 and over
By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
If your order goes missing or is damaged between dispatch and delivery, we will send you a replacement order as soon as we can. In the event that we cannot replace the missing or damaged goods, we will give you a full refund. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 30 days of your order date.
If you’re sending wine as a gift, please make that clear in the delivery instructions.
From time to time, bottles are broken in transit, although this is rare with our delivery company, London City Bond. Our carriers should never deliver a case with a broken bottle inside for obvious reasons, but in the event that they do, we will replace or refund any broken bottles. Best of all, email us a quick photo to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can try and fix things in future.
If you don’t like our wine for any reason, we will replace it, give you a refund or credit your account against a future order.
If a wine is ‘corked’ or faulty, we will refund you the amount of the offending bottle or, if you prefer, give you a credit against a future order.
If, within 30 days of the delivery, you don’t like a wine and would like to return any remaining bottles in the case, we will arrange a collection and either replace them or give you a refund. We reserve the right not to take back or refund wine that has been stored badly, such as in a freezer, attic or boiler room.
If you want to cancel your order prior to delivery, please let us know straight away by emailing email@example.com - sometimes if the wine is out for delivery then we cannot alert the warehouse in time.
We reserve the right to cancel any order that we cannot deliver for any reason. If we have to cancel you order we will contact you and refund any money you have paid for that order.
If we cannot fulfil your exact order, we might substitute some bottles for wine of a similar quality and of similar or higher value at no extra cost. Occasionally we may have to substitute wines for a later vintage. We do not normally do this without your prior approval but if you are unhappy with any substitutions you receive we will arrange collection at our cost.
Products offered on this website may be withdrawn from offer without notice (usually because they sell out).
When you purchase from this website, we collect personal information to enable us to deliver your order. By registering your details, you consent to us recording and using this personal data. We will not pass on your details, except to our warehouse and delivery partners. We’d rather be dragged through the vineyard by an incontinent wild boar than share your email address and any other private stuff with other commercial ventures.
We send out a monthly newsletter by email, and the occasional offer. If you prefer not to receive these emails, simply click ‘unsubscribe’ at the foot of any of the emails we send you. This will remove you from the email list. There is also an option to change your email address.
We occasionally send our UK customers a printed newsletter or offer in the post, free of charge. If you’d like to be removed from this postal mailing list, or change your address or be included on the list, or if you have any questions about privacy, please email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
