Sauvignon Blanc 2021. The new vintage of our best selling wine, and one we're very happy with. Citrusy, nettly and refreshing, this is a more mineral, fresher style than in some hotter, more exotic years.

The back label: "2021 was a later harvest and we had to be patient before bringing in our excellent Sauvignon Blanc in late September. This crisp, fine dry white has been the house wine at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and a special selection for Rick Stein for two decades." 12% vol.

Sauvignon Blanc 2022. We had a hot and dry summer in 2022, and the vines coped remarkably well despite the lack of rain. We harvested the white grapes earlier than usual, like in 2020, and this Sauvignon Blanc is full, unctuous and one of the more powerful whites that we've made.

The back label: "Our Sauvignon Blanc comes from dry-grown vines on the slopes surrounding the château, and harvested in September. A versatile dry white, it has been the house wine at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and a special selection for Rick Stein for over two decades." 12% vol.

Les Trois Hectares blanc 2022. 2022 was an excellent year for our old Sémillon vines, which coped well with the drought and summer warmth thanks to their well-established roots. It's by far the richest vintage so far for Les Trois Hectares blanc, and our favourite to date.

The back label: "Les Trois Hectares is a single vineyard of old Sémillon vines that were planted in 1947, along with around 10% of Sauvignon Blanc and other old varieties in the field blend from the same block. A dry white that works well with good food or simply on its own." 12.5% vol.

Bordeaux Supérieur 2018. Our classic Bordeaux red has been the premium house red at Hotel du Vin for a decade. A new release, the 2018 is bright and juicy.

The back label: "2018 was a fine vintage with a damp spring, a hot summer and a sunny harvest. A medium to full bodied blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this can be kept for a few years although it's supple and fruity enough to enjoy quite young." 14% alc.

Les Trois Hectares rouge 2020. This the new, delicious vintage of our special cuvée red, made with lower yields and aged in French oak barrels. Fuller bodied than our classic Bordeaux Supérieur red and it deservedly sells for a modest premium, we think. The 2020, an excellent year for Bordeaux and indeed for this wine, is drinkable now but it will age well for a good few years too.

The back label: "This special cuvée was made from 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon from the same block and aged in small French oak barrels. A medium to full bodied red, it's ripe and supple enough to drink young or it will develop well in bottle over many years." 13.5% alc.
