Blanc de Blancs Crémant de Bordeaux 2021. To think that we planted the vineyard for this in 2004, some 20+ years ago. The vines are lovingly tended through to the hand picking in August, with the whole bunches going into the press. The juice is fermented in a chilled stainless steel vat, with a second fermentation in bottle later on by adding yeast and sugar to create the fine bubbles.
The back label: ''Lovely, sparkling Crémant made in the ‘méthode traditionnelle’, using our hand picked Sémillon grapes from a single block, with a second fermentation in bottle. This dry Blanc de Blancs was aged on its lees for over 24 months for a slightly richer, fuller taste.' 11% vol.
Sauvignon Blanc 2025.
The back label: "Our first season was back in 2000 and our dry white from that vintage was chosen by Rick Stein as a ‘special selection’ for his famed Seafood Restaurant. ‘ An aromatic, zesty Sauvignon Blanc so good that we stuck our name on it’ he writes on his wine list, some 25 years later. 12.5% vol"
Les Trois Hectares blanc 2025.
The back label: "Les Trois Hectares is a single vineyard of old Sémillon vines planted in 1947, along with 15% of Sauvignon Blanc and various other old varieties that go into this ‘field blend’ from the same block. A fine, dry white for serving with good food, or simply on its own. 12.5% vol"
Rosé 2025.
The back label: "The house Rosé for Rick Stein for more than 15 years, the harvest is earlier than for making red, blending 40% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Just the free-run juice is used for this delicious, pale and dry wine, before pressing the skins. 12.5% vol."
Jeunes Vignes 2022.
The back label: "This easy-drinking red from a warm and sunny year is a little sibling to Les Trois Hectares rouge, with the youngest vines being used to make a lighter yet really enjoyable wine, with less oak ageing. Only 2,400 bottles were made of this plush Merlot (80%) & Cabernet blend. 13.5% vol."
Les Trois Hectares rouge 2021. Our special cuvée red and very drinkable. Pour it into a decanter or carafe if you can, but don't worry if that's not possible. It opens up nicely.
The back label: "This special cuvée was made from 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon from the same block and aged in small French oak barrels. A medium to full bodied red, it's ripe and supple enough to drink young or it will develop well in bottle over many years." 13.5% vol.
