The farmhouse is fully booked for 2026. 'Held' means deposit to be paid, ‘Reserved’ deposit paid and ‘Booked’ means paid in full.

We try to keep a ‘waiting list’ if we have any cancellations (not least if the booking hasn’t been paid in full) while 2027 dates and prices have not been fixed as yet. Email both Angela and Gavin by clicking this link. Or WhatsApp Gavin on 00 33 642329853.

The changeover day is Friday. You can arrive from 2pm, and on the day of departure please leave the upstairs clear by 10am, downstairs by 10.30am, and outside by 11am.

2026 Bookings

Ts and Cs

Once we've confirmed by email that the week is available for you, we will hold your reservation for a few days so you can check your travel arrangements and our 'Ts and Cs' below.

Arrival and departure

You can arrive on Friday from 2pm, and on the day of departure please leave the upstairs clear by 10am, downstairs by 10.30am and the garden area by 11am.

Bedroom layout

We will ask you nearer the time how you'd like the beds made up - there are four double bedrooms, two of which can be made up as twins rather than doubles. There are two cots as well. By all means give us advance notice on the makeup of the group so we know what to expect!

Cleaning and laundry

The only additional cost is £150 per week towards the cleaning and laundry costs (we have two cleaning ladies and other helpers every Friday, and we use the local blanchisserie). We provide all the bed linen, bath towels and swimming towels, so there is no need to bring any of those with you.

Deposit and balance

To secure the booking we ask for a third of the rental as a non-refundable deposit and then the balance 90 days before your arrival date. Payment will be into our UK bank to make things easier (which is fully declared).

Deposit: 1/3 to confirm the booking.
Balance: 2/3 plus £150 cleaning contribution per week, 90 days before the start of your holiday. By all means pay the balance before the due date if it suits you.

Cancellations, notice periods and refunds

We thought long and hard about our cancellation policy after Covid wiped out most of our 2020 and all of our 2021 bookings. So these were our terms for 2022, 2023 and 2024 and it all worked out fine, with no mishaps at all, though please make sure that you’re happy to accept the terms before paying a deposit and the balance. It may be that for you and your party the risk of not being able to get here may be too high.

In the event of a cancellation, we will refund a proportion of the rental amount as follows:

60-90 days’ notice: we will refund 50% of the total rental amount
45-59 days’ notice: we will refund 1/3 of the total rental amount
0-45 days’ notice: there will be no refunds

The main risk might be that you are not able to come due to an illness or travel related issue. There are less 'border' disruptions potentially for people coming from within the EU than from the UK, but it is not really for us to prioritise bookings based on where our guests live.

Note that we will not offer to carry forward any booking to another date in the event that there is a late cancellation.

Direct bookings only

Our firm intention is to keep letting out the Farmhouse privately. We have no plans to use Airbnb or booking dot com or to put the house on with a rental agency, so that is why we can’t be too lax with our booking and refund policy. That way we can continue to offer value for money by going 'direct'.
