“What a week! Every day has been a joy. I have learnt so much about the growing of grapes that the many tastings have been comprehensible and even more useful. “Daddy (1) cooked snails. Yuk! Mummy 2 couldn’t get out of bed in the morning (too much drink from a bottle). Mummy 1 moaned about all of the smoked salmon she ate… everyone else ate Cote de Boeuf. Daddy 2 tried to watch football but there was always something better to do. We had the best time.”
