Cellar door sales
Do let us know when you would like to come, preferably Monday to Friday, though weekends are possible if you want to buy at least 12 bottles. With some notice, we can open a bottle or two if you want to try before you buy, though see 'wine tastings' below.

Prices for our whites, red, rosé and sparkling wines range from €7.50 to €16 per bottle at the château. Contact Gavin for the best cash deals at the cellar door.
For orders placed at the Château to be delivered in the UK (for example, if you've flown over), prices will be at the sterling rates shown on this site because of higher duty in the UK, plus shipping and delivery.
We can deliver in France and across most of the EU from late September 2023 onwards (we're changing our delivery company).

Créon market on Wednesday
There is an excellent food market in Créon just a kilometre away every Wednesday morning from 8.30am, if you want to combine the trip.

Local restaurants
See below for ideas on where to eat locally. Note that last orders for lunch in many restaurants is 1.45pm. Further afield, Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion are both 30 minutes away by car, excluding parking up time, so do let us know at the start if you need to leave in good time.
Directions
We are 15 miles SE of the city of Bordeaux, at 31 Rue Bauduc, Créon 33670. You should find Château Bauduc on Google Maps, GPS etc. Come all the way down Rue Bauduc to the end and through the stone gateposts into the vineyard, with our Château Bauduc sign on the right. Drive down the tree-lined drive and there's a sign to the 'chai/winery', going past the pond on your right, and you can park in the yard, such as under the tree near the old Citroen van. The tasting room is the first door on the right hand side, straight ahead as you come down the drive. If we're not there, call or text us as above.
New - Bordeaux city to Château Bauduc Express
There's a newish express coach service from the centre of Bordeaux to Créon, with stop at the end of Rue Bauduc. The Bordeaux-Créon 407 runs Monday to Friday, every hour on the hour from each end, and more frequently from 6am-9am and 4pm-7pm. Bordeaux to Creon takes 35-40 minutes. Each journey costs just over €2.

Local places to eat
150m from the end of Rue Bauduc in Créon is a large café, bar and deli called Les Halles, which was opened in July 2023 by the owners of Le Fournil de Créon next door - itself a hugely successful bakery and patisserie. At the back of this impressive building is the café, along with an outdoor terrace. You can have a plate of charcuterie, a salad, a sandwich or whatever, along with a cold draught beer, a glass of wine or a range of soft drinks.
We recommend a good local restaurant in the main square in Créon called Chez Titut, tel. +33 5 56 42 98 40. This was formerly La Table, and has a large garden out the back and open from 12pm to 2pm from Tuesday to Saturday, and 7pm to 10pm for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Opening hours change according to the seasons so do check on google. There's a sandwich bar next to Chez Titut, a creperie plus a good café called La Tasse qui fume, all in the square (Place de la Prevoté).
There's a new Bistro Regent off the roundabout opposite Carrefour heading away from the town (see below). It’s a popular chain of restaurants offering a good value steak and chips formula. Modern, tasty and efficient - and open until 2.15pm for lunch. If you're with kids, you may want to know there's a 'McDo' on the edge of the town near Carrefour.
If you're heading to the famous wine village of St-Emilion or the fabulous city of Bordeaux, allow half an hour's drive, plus time to park up.
We have two excellent, large boulangeries (bakeries) within a mile of us, both of which sell sandwiches and salads.
Le Fournil de Créon is near the end of our road, and is open from 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week. In the morning, you can choose from a selection of sandwich fillings and styles of bread.
We also use Maison Catarino, not far away and with similar opening hours, and the sandwiches and salads are excellent. We recommend that you buy sandwiches before our 11am tour, not after, as they often sell out.
