A delicious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from Château La Fleur.
This is a more than drinkable offering from an impeccably-run Saint-Émilion estate, from the excellent 2018 vintage. A silky, polished Merlot with a dash of Cabernet Franc, it's actually quite a powerful wine but it slips down all too easily. Limited stock, sadly - just 480 bottles for the UK, just like the previous vintage. The dastardly Swiss clocked all the rest, where it has now all but sold out. 15% vol.
